Its been another tiring week- busy with clients and projects and little time for much personal rest. At least this girl managed some stolen time away with Brunei Princess and Warrior Princess (oh my goodness, she just realized there’s a lot of princess-ness happening) where they mixed work and some girl time out at a semi-fancy wine/pasta place.
One of the things that keeps this girl sane is her quiet time each day; she subscribes to RBC’s daily bread which sends her a devotion email each day as well Max Lucado’s daily blessings which she reads most times at the start of each day. And usually, they are spot on; God’s soft whisper to remind her that He’s got things sorted.
Today was no different. Its been a physically exhausting week with this girl clamouring for rest at every junctutre that she can steal. Added to this, The Boy seems to be falling ill- this girl blames the fact that he refuses to take his vitamins even when she’s already sorted them oout for him into a daily pill box. Mostly, he takes them only when this girl physically puts them in his hand and hands them over with some water.
So, in a particular out-of-sorts couple of days, the message today reads: Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. (Matthew 10:31)
And, tonight, she knows she’d sleep well.
