the uncluttered life

The past few years have been cluttered and complicated for this girl, as most of you know. This page is her foray into a brand new version of life she’s choosing to call “The uncluttered life.” The plan, from where she is sitting- standing is too tiring you see- is to cover various topics and aspects of her life, her friend’s life and life in general in a bid to live uncomplicatedly so that the quiet Truths and simplicity that should be, could be, everyday living can be.
Decluttering the Room
Like The Mother who loved to collect virtually everything and hated throwing anything away, this girl amassed a great deal of stuff. You name it: stuff toys (she once boasted of a 45 piece Ernie of Sesame Street collection), letters (she had six huge boxes of these, neatly segmented and sorted no less), books (this especially grew during her university days), silly aesthetic display thingamajig (glass baubles, ornaments, fairies/butterflies…) and all sorts of other things that collected dust mainly. This page shares how she decluttered her physical living space.
This girl loves clothes. This girl lives in a family where The Father works in fashion, The Mother sews and the sisters likes to buy clothes. Actually, only The Princess does. The Prefect doesn’t seem to wear anything other than shorts, jeans and t-shirts. But as a collective whole, this girl and her family own tons of clothes. Alot.
The Father and The Mother have the most clothes; between them they have four huge two-door floor-to-ceiling wardrobes (plus they have a high ceiling and a huge ass room), bureas, more smaller bureaus, drawer units… you get the idea. This girl has two wardrobes (not as large as The Father and The Mother’s since her room is the attic and the ceilings are shorter lower) and two huge drawers which house alot of stuff; though she has to qualify that her bag collection goes in there too.
So, she declutters!
